What is Toolkit

The GenSMS toolkit is a series of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), tools and utilities that will allow you to embed SMS, test and deliver you applications.

APIs available in:

• HTTP
• SMTP
• Web Services
• COM

The toolkit also includes:

• Test Gateway services that simulates sending and receiving of text messages. Also simulates sending of Mobile Originated messages.
• Test Server that can receive HTTP messages sent by GenSMS to your appplication so that you can easily decode the messages.
• Source code that uses the COM component and Web Service to send SMS.

What can I do with it

The toolkit is required if you wish to use Premium SMS or Text Me services to receive SMS. However the toolkit can be used to send SMS, binary messages and Wap Push messages.

How much does it cost

The toolkit and account set-up is free and you also get SMS at a reduced rate.
