What is Text Me

Text Me is a service that allows you to rent a mobile number from GenSMS and any text sent to your number will be forwarded to your applications.

You can have SMS forwarded to:

• An email address
• A Web application

Replies to inbound message via your application such as eMailSMS will automatically be sent as an SMS to the original sender. See the data sheet for more information.

What can I do with it

This sort of application is ideal for promoting a service to allow your customers, colleagues to send information to you that can be routed to one of your applications. For example:

• Estate agents returning more information to interested buyers.
• Parents notifying a school their children are ill.
• A company receiving comments about its service.
• Sales team submit end-of-week figures to their sales manager

Dedicated UK mobile numbers are available from just £20.00 per month and shared numbers from £5.00 per month.

Requirements

To have messages forwarded to an email address you will need a valid email account.
