eMailSMS TextMe Premium SMS Toolkit
eMailSMS

eMailSMS simply plugs into Microsoft Outlook® and Microsoft Outlook Express® and allows users to send an email directly to a mobile phone. The mobile phone recipient receives this email as a normal SMS message, and optionally, a copy in their email inbox. The mobile recipient can then reply via an SMS message, which goes back in email format to the original senders' inbox.

Email Compatibility: Plugin for Microsoft® Outlook® 2003, 2000, 2002(XP), 98 and 97. Microsoft Outlook Express® 4, 5 and 6.

Platform Support: Windows 2003®, Windows 2000®, Windows XP®, Windows 98®, Windows 97®, Windows ME® and Windows NT 4.0® (Service Pack 6.0).

Outlook Calendar support is only available on Microsoft Outlook® 2003, 2002 and 2000.

eMailSMS is as simple to use as email with no complicated instructions or learning curve - if you can use email, you can use eMailSMS!

Simply install the eMailSMS suite and a "New SMS" icon will appear in your Outlook tool bar. Simply click on the icon, select the recipients contact details, type the message and press send - it's as simple as that!

eMailSMS will get the mobile phone number from the recipient's details in the Exchange, Outlook or Windows Address Book and deliver the message to the phone. Or you can type the number directly in the To field.

The email is delivered to the recipient's mobile phone as a normal SMS text message that they can read and save as usual. Additionally, a copy can be sent to the recipients email inbox.

The recipient can reply to the SMS message via their mobile and the original sender will receive this as a normal email in their inbox along with the original message. If you choose to reply to this it will automatically be sent out as an SMS allowing for an easy 2-way conversation over SMS.

Users can send one-to-one or one-to-many messages allowing for mass communication to a number of recipients in one go. For example, marketing may need to send the latest offer to its customers, or sales may need to send a price list change to all the sales people on the road.

You and your colleagues can also have Outlook Calendar appointments reminders sent directly to your phone as an SMS. This is ideal for a PA managing the schedule of busy executives.

The first 160 characters of messages selected by Outlook Rules Wizard can be forwarded to your mobile phone.

The tight integration with Microsoft Outlook means that you can still use your signatures and spell checker, or have message sent at a later time.

The sender can attach files to the message. The recipient will receive the file name in the SMS message and the files will be sent to the recipient's inbox.
If the email is longer than the maximum characters for an SMS, then the email is automatically split into multiple SMS.

•  eMailSMS is as simple to use as email, with little user-training and no additional technical knowledge required.

•  Increase productivity by relaying important messages to the mobile workforce without having to interrupt them. For example, mobile workers can be told the next address to go to, or that a meeting has been delayed, or the venue has changed.

•  Information is written, not spoken, enabling future accurate reference and reducing the need for mobile workers to find a pen and paper to take down the information whilst on the move.

•  Users no longer need to make expensive calls to a mobile phone to relay information thus reducing your landline to mobile connection costs.

•  One-to-one or one-to-many messaging allows mass communication to a number of recipients in one go. eMailSMS can work seamlessly with Exchange and Outlook distribution lists.

•  A copy of the message is also sent to the recipients email inbox thus enabling future reference.

•  Mobile users can reply via SMS message back to the sender who receives it as a normal email. Your replies will be sent out as an SMS again.

•  You can be reminded of meetings and appointments and also use recurring appointments to be reminded at regular intervals via SMS.

•  You can have important messages forwarded to your phone when you are not there.

•  For notifications and announcements you can have the recipient see your name, or the company name, as the sender of the SMS, instead of a mobile number.

•  Ensure your corporate email security policy applies to SMS sent by email. The text is not encrypted and can be scanned by content filters.

•  Email can be archived in the usual way and records kept for security or customer relations.
